Remove all vehicles from the driveway. Make sure garage doors are closed. Do not park cars in front of any residential space.
Remove trash cans, garden tools, garden hoses, and sprinklers from view. Sweep driveways, patios, and sidewalks.
Put deck/patio furniture and umbrellas up in season (unless too windy), and remove covers from furniture and grills.
Set all blinds to the same height. The photographer will adjust as needed for optimal lighting and composition.
Mow the lawn, trim trees and bushes (preferred), remove any debris, and tidy up flower beds.
Enhance curb appeal with a front door wreath, pots of greenery, fresh flowers, or decorative lighting.
Make sure all lights and lamps have working bulbs, are clean, set to the correct brightness, and turned on.
Clear off countertops in kitchens and bathrooms removing towel rolls, tissues, soap, toothbrushes, etc.
Remove all notes, pictures, and magnets from the refrigerator. Keep it completely cleared off and spotless.
Turn off all ceiling fans to prevent motion blur. Ensure they are clean, dust-free, and properly aligned.
Put away evidence of “work “including buckets, mops, trash cans, vacuum cleaners, sponges, etc.
Hide kitchen trash cans from view and make sure the area is clean, tidy, and free of any clutter.
Keep pet beds, food bowls, and toys hidden to ensure the space looks tidy, uncluttered, and ready for photography.
Remove TV remotes, magazines, and newspapers to create a clean, uncluttered look and enhance the presentation.
Vacuum carpets, make beds neatly, and ensure all areas are clean to create a polished and inviting space.
We recommend not staying in the house during the shoot to allow us to work freely and capture the best angles without interruptions.
Please remove pets from the house during the shoot. It ensures safety and prevents distractions for both the photographer and the animals.
If you don’t have storage space, simply place the items in a small room that we won’t photograph or video.
Ensure all rooms are clean and clutter-free. Focus on tidying up key areas like living spaces, kitchens, and bathrooms for the best results.
